Listed for sale is a fabulous 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.This gorgeous second generation Camaro is a true Z28 with the original matching numbers 350 CID engine, and turbo 400 Hydromantic (automatic) transmission. The bright and attention getting exterior of this awesome Z/28 Camaro is meticulously finished in (code 51) “Daytona Yellow” matching the data tag, with just a touch of pearl added for the deep beautiful shine! The exterior was meticulously and professionally color sanded and buffed to a show car luster (9.8 out of 10.) The glass on this 73’ is all original from 1973, with the exception of the drivers’ side door window glass which has been replaced. All rubber on doors and glass is in great condition with no cracks or dry rot. The bumpers are original and recently re-chromed by Ogden Plating which is show quality chroming; the pictures just do not do them justice! The front bumper sports the 73’ only bumperettes which are in exemplary condition as well. This 73’ Camaro sits on time period correct (70’s era) Goodyear “Polyglass” F-60-15 tires with less than 300 miles, wrapped around the Z28 five-spoke wheels. The undercarriage has been meticulously kept and is clean without any rust or road salt oxidation. Inside this beautiful 73’ Camaro is the interior that came with this vehicle from the factory. The pristine seats (front & back) boast no tears, scratches or excessive wear. All seat mechanics function flawlessly with plenty of cushion & life left in them. The dashboard, headliner and rear panels are also in impeccable condition, again with no cracks or blemishes. The two door panels and carpeting have been replaced and are in flawless new condition. Under the hood you will find a numbers matching Chevrolet 350 CID engine. This is a fully rebuilt engine with new pink rod/pistons. The bore/stroke remains stock but completely refreshed with new components for a reliable rebuild. The exhaust starts with “Hooker Competition” headers with all new exhaust tubing all the way back for a smooth mellow tone. The engine is mated with a restored turbo 400 HydraMatic (auto) transmission which shifts flawlessly. The driveline outputs to a 3.73 posi-trac rear-end to ensure traction to both wheels. There is a new master brake cylinder and new refreshed brakes front and rear to ensure efficient stopping power. Suspension is all restored from springs, shocks to tie-rod ends with stable and comfortable steering geometry. This is a very clean and complete restore; nothing has been overlooked with this rebuild.
